Scallops with Thyme

  Serve with green or fruit salad.
Ingredients:
  2 teaspoons   salt
  1 teaspoon   cayenne pepper
  1 pound   sea scallops, reinsed and patted dry
  3 tablespoons   butter
  2 cloves   garlic, minced
  2   scallions(white part only) chopped
  1 1/2 teaspons   crunbled dried thyme
    juine of 1/2 lemon
Directions:
  Combine the salt and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over the scallops. Heat the butter in a heavy skilled or a wok over medium-high heat unitl it is bubbling and beginning to brown. Add the garlic and scallions, and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. add the scallops and thyme to the skillet and cook, turning the scallops, about 4 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Drizzle with the lemon juice and serve immediately.
