Cooking mashed potatoes in the heat of the summer is less than desirable. Instant mashed potatoes dressed up, tastes like the real thing, the only thing missing is the lumps and the overheated kitchen! :)
Ingredients:
1 package   Honest Earth (Canadian Costco) Instant Mashed Potatoes
  1 tsp   chopped garlic
  3 tbls   butter
Directions:
Melt butter and garlic together in microwave for 30 seconds, set aside.
Follow package directions for potatoes, using the reserved garlic butter in place of "butter" required in package directions.

*Honest Earth brand is as close to real mashed that I've tried. Can not tell the difference when you add garlic.
