like mini-meatloafs in a mushroom gravy - easy to make and yummy

Ingredients:

1 lb

ground beef

1 sm

onion, chopped

2 slices

white bread

2 c

water

1 tsp

salt

1/4 tsp

pepper

1/8 tsp

ground nutmeg

2 T

oil

1 jar

(12 ounces) mushroom gravy

1/4 c

burgundy wine or water

1.50 c

Original Minute Rice

1 T

chopped parsley

Directions:

combine beef, onion, bread, 1/2 cup of the water, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, pepper and nutmeg in large bowl; mix well. Shape into 4 loaves

cook loaves in hot oil in large skillet until browned. Stir in gravy and wine. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, bring remaining water and salt to boil. Stir in rice and parsley; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Serve rice with loaves.
