  my own variation using the veggies christian will eat; yummy and comforting
Ingredients:
  1 cup   dry brown rice
  1 cup   diced yellow squash
  1 cup   diced onion
  2 ea   large raw carrots diced
  1 cup   shredded cabbage
  3 cups   chicken broth
  1 ea   diced sweet bell pepper
Directions:
  mix everything in crock pot, cook on high 3 hours or low all day while you work. serve with a protein and a salad. Add salt and pepper if desired.
