no peek beef stew

  I love having this on cool fall days
Ingredients:
  2 pound   beef stew meat
  2   onions, chopped
  2 stalks   celery, diced
  6   carrots, cut into chunks
  3 large   potatoes, cut into chunks
  2 tsp.   salt
  1/4 tsp.   pepper
  1 tsp.   sugar
  1   bay leaf
  2 Tbsp.   fresh parsley, chopped
  3 Tbsp.   tapioca
  2 cups   tomato juice
  1 can   beef broth
Directions:
  Put everything in a casserole with a tight fitting lid. Cover tightly and cook for 4-5 hours at 250 degrees. DO NOT PEEK!
