really good restraunt style mexican rice |
Ingredients: |

1 c. |
|
rice |
|
3 cubes |
|
chicken boullion |
|
2 1/2 c |
|
water |
|
2 tsp |
|
butter |
|
2 8 oz. cans |
|
tomato sauce |
|
2 tsp |
|
chili powder |
|
|
|
garlic powder to taste |
Directions: |
|
Mix first 4 ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low. Simmer 15-20 min until done. Add the tomatoes and chili powder. Heat through on low. Never add tomatoes to rice before they are cooked.
