Steel-cut oats with fruit

  1/2 cup steel cut (aka Irish) oats boiled in 2 cups water (ratio is 1:4 oatmeal:water) for 45 minutes. When thick, stir in milk to taste (approx. 3 tbpsn), sprinkle with brown sugar and top with available berries (raspberry preferred).
