Rootbeer Floats

  Any glass, mug, cup, bowl, jar, or boot will work, but if you have some beer mugs that you can put in the freezer ahead of time, those frosty mugs work best!
Ingredients:
  8 scoops   vanilla ice cream
  1 liter   root beer
Directions:
  Scoop 2 generous scoops of ice cream into each of the 4 prepared frosty mugs. Then, gently, and ever-so-slowly, pour the root-beer into the glass, down the side of the glass, not over the ice cream (this will help you get as much soda into the mug as possible, and keep the head somewhat under control).

Add a straw and/or a long spoon, and ennnnnjoy!
