Perdenales River Chili

Ingredients:
  8 pounds   hamburg
  2   onions
  4   garlic
  2 28 ounce   canned tomatoes
  4 cups   water
  4 tbs   chili powder
  4 tsp   salt
  2 tsp   oregano
  2 tsp   cumin
Directions:
  Combine meat, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven; cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.

Drain off pan drippings. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.

Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Yield: about 24 cups
