Pasta Fagioli DS

  Good for cold winter nights.
Ingredients:
  3   Carrots cut small
  2   Stalks celery with leaves chopped small
  1/2 tsp   Parsley
  1/2 tsp   Basil
  1 dash   Oregano
  1 Tbsp   Garlic powder
  1 dash   salt
  3 oz   Olive oil
  1 dash   Black pepper
  1 can   Tomato sauce (8 oz)
  1 can   Tomato sauce (4 oz)
  16 oz   Water
  4 oz   Chianti
  2 cans   Camalini beans (discard liquid)
  1 box   Macaroni shells or elbow macaroni
Directions:
  Combine carrots, celery, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, olive oil, black pepper, tomato sauce, water, Chianti, and beans in a large pot.
Mix and cook for 1 hour.
Put on low heat and cook another half hour.
Cook pasta according to directions.
When pasta is done, add to soup mixture.
