Nonnies dessert Strawberry Jello Cake

  If you wish just make 1/2
Ingredients:
  1   white cake mix baked into 9x12 cake
  20 oz   strawberries, frozen with sugar
  2 small boxes   strawberry jello
  8 oz   cool whip, thawed
Directions:
  Mix jello with 2 cups boiling water, DO NOT ADD COLD WATER!!! Break up strawberries and add to jello- stir until jello is consistancy of egg white. Pour over white cake that has been baked and cooled till cold! Poke cake with fork to allow jello to go into cake. Place in frige to set 1 hour. frost with cool whip. store in frige. you can make a smaller cake by using an 8" square cake and 1/2 of rest of ingredients
