Mustard Bread

I must eat this when I have my New Orleans Red Beans and Rice. My mom is an absolute mustard fanantic and she's rubbed off on me! |
Ingredients: |

1 loaf |
|
french bread |
|
1 stick |
|
butter, softened |
|
1/2 cup |
|
yellow mustard |
Directions: |
|
Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices. Spread with butter. Spread liberally with mustard. That's it. Eat with saucy bean or meat dishes.
Optional: Toast the buttered bread under the broiler first, then spread with mustard. The point of this is to have the cold mustard in contrast to your hot entree.
