Lo Mein Noodles

  A simple recipe to go along with nearly any stir fry recipe.
Ingredients:
  1 lb.   linguine noodles
  6 T.   peanut oil
  1/4 c.   green onions, sliced
  2 cloves   garlic, minced
  2 T.   soy sauce
Directions:
  1) Cook linguine per directions on package just until al dente. (Boil water, add linguine, then return to boil for 7-9 minutes). Drain.

2) Pour peanut oil into a wok or large frying pan. Heat the oil until it ripples and dances, but do not allow oil to smoke. Add garlic and green onions. Heat, stirring constantly, just until garlic begins to change color before adding the noodles.

3) Add linguine noodles to wok or pan. Toss noodles until well coated in oil. Saute noodles until lightly browned. Add soy sauce and continue to toss until evenly coated. Enjoy.
