Kronewitter fresh basil and garlic chive lasagne

serves: 4
  lasagne
Ingredients:
  1/2 lb   ground beef
  1/2 tsp   garlic
  1/2 tsp   salt
  14 oz   crushed tomatoes
  2 tbs   basil
  1.50 tbs   chives
  2 tbs   water
  1/2 cup   chicken broth
  4 oz   cream cheese
  1.50 cup   shredded mozzarella cheese
  4 ind   lasagne noodles
Directions:
  In large skillet cook ground beef, salt, and garlic over med heat until meat is no longer pink, Stir in crushed tomatoes, basil, half the chives, and water. Set aside.

In small sauce pot, heat the chicken broth. Add cream cheese and whisk to blend smooth.

Grease pan, spread half of the meat mixture. Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese over meat. Lay half of the uncooked noodles over the cheese.

Pour cream cheese mixture over the noodles. Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese over the cream cheese mix. Lay remaining uncooked noodles over the cheese,

Spoon the remaining meat sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Sprinkle the remaining chives over the cheese.

to freeze chill first, thaw lasagne completely in refrigerator before baking.

to bake: preheat oven to 400. Bake for 40 min, allow to set for 10 min before serving.
