Jocon de pollo

  Traditional Guatemalan Chicken Stew
Ingredients:
  1   chicken cut up in pieces
  8   green onions slices
  1/2 lb   tomatillos or miltomate
  1/2 cup   fresh cilantro chopped
  6   green bell pepper
  4 oz.   corn flour (maseca)
  1   slice of french bread
    salt
    pepper
    oil
  1 can   green beans or a bunch of fresh green beans
  3   guisquiles
Directions:
  1. Boil onions, tomatillos, cilantro and bell peppers.
2. Blend the mixture to make a sauce. Add the corn flour and 1 cup of liquid.
3. Cook the chicken in the sauce mixture. If it need more water, add more water.
4. Add vegetables to stew.
