Traditional Guatemalan Chicken Stew |
Ingredients: |

chicken cut up in pieces |
|

|
green onions slices |
|
1/2 lb |
|
tomatillos or miltomate |
|
1/2 cup |
|
fresh cilantro chopped |
|

|
green bell pepper |
|
4 oz. |
|
corn flour (maseca) |
|
1 |
|
slice of french bread |
|

salt |
|
|
|
pepper |
|
|

oil |
|
1 can |
|
green beans or a bunch of fresh green beans |

Directions: |
|
1. Boil onions, tomatillos, cilantro and bell peppers.
2. Blend the mixture to make a sauce. Add the corn flour and 1 cup of liquid.
3. Cook the chicken in the sauce mixture. If it need more water, add more water.
4. Add vegetables to stew.
