Homemade Baby Wipes
by Jes Mostek
serves: 100
When nothing else worked on our baby's sensitive skin, these homemade wipes saved her butt, literally!
Ingredients:
1/2 roll   paper towels (super soft ones)
  2 c.   water
2 T.   oil, olive or mineral
2 T.   gentle baby wash or detergent
  2 drops   tea tree oil
Directions:
Cut a (soft) paper towel roll in half using a clean saw or bread knife. Remove core & put paper towels in a Tupperware-like container. In a small saucepan, boil 2 c. water, 2 T. olive oil or mineral oil & 2 T. natural baby wash or other gentle soap & a couple drops of tea tree oil (only use that a preventative once the rash has cleared up-- it'll prevent it from coming back, but it'll hurt irritated skin). Pour the hot liquid into the center of the paper towel roll. Cover and set aside until liquid is absorbed and cooled slightly. Pull from center. Store at room temperature next to your changing table.
