Grill-Toasted Pappadums

  Indian potato chips! These come boxed at the store and must be cooked before eating. Many restaurants deep-fry them but an alternative is to toast them over an open flame, or on the grill! Serve with Avocado Chutney if you like.
Ingredients:
  1 box   pappadums
Directions:
  With tongs, lay the pappadums on the grill grate. As they toast, they will puff and curl and get nicely browned. Keep turning them until all areas are toasted. They will crisp up more as they cool.

You can also toast them over the flame of a gas burner. Hold them with tongs over the fire and turn frequently.
