water |
|

olive oil |
|

sea salt |

garlic cloves, peeled and crushed |
|
1 cup |
|
whole wheat couscous |
|
1 6 oz |
|
jar roasted red peppers, drained and diced |
|
2 tbsp |
|
chopped fresh basil |
|
|
|
fresh ground pepper, to taste |
Directions: |
|
1. In a medium saucepan combine water, olive oil, sea salt and garlic. Bring to a boil.
2. Stir in couscous. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
3. Remove garlic cloves and stir in red peppers and fresh basil. Season with pepper and serve with any meat.
