Crock Pot Amish Pot Roast

Crock pot pot roast. |
Ingredients: |

4 lb |
|
Beef roast (sirloin tip, rump) |
|
1 T |
|
Oil |
|
1/4 C |
|
Soy sauce |
|
1 C |
|
Coffee |
|
2 |
|
Bay leaves |
|
1 clove |
|
Garlic, minced |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
Oregano |
|
2 |
|
Onions, sliced |
Directions: |
|
Sear roast in 1T oil on all sides.
Mix soy sauce, coffee, bay leaves, garlic, and oregano to make sauce.
Put half of onions on bottom of crock pot, and half in the sauce.
Place roast on top of onions in crock pot.
Pour sauce over meat.
Cook on low for appox. 8 hours until roast is falling apart tender.
If desired, add potatoes and carrots an hour before done.
