Cocktail Meatballs with a Twist |
Ingredients: |

2 lbs |
|
groung beef |
|
1 tsp |
|
salt |
|
1/4 tsp |
|
pepper |
|
1/2 c |
|
breadcrumbs |
|
1/2 c |
|
onion, chopped |
|
1 clove |
|
garlic, minced |
|
2 each |
|
eggs, beaten |
|
10 oz |
|
grape jelly |
|
12 oz |
|
chili sauce |
|
2 1/2 Tbsp |
|
lemon juice |
Directions: |
|
Combine meat, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, & eggs.
Form into balls in baking dish. Mix jelly, chili sauce, & lemon juice. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour sauce over meatballs and bake 325 degrees for 1 hour, basting 3 times.
