Cocktail Meatballs with a Twist JLP

  Cocktail Meatballs with a Twist
Ingredients:
  2 lbs   groung beef
  1 tsp   salt
  1/4 tsp   pepper
  1/2 c   breadcrumbs
  1/2 c   onion, chopped
  1 clove   garlic, minced
  2 each   eggs, beaten
  10 oz   grape jelly
  12 oz   chili sauce
  2 1/2 Tbsp   lemon juice
Directions:
  Combine meat, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, & eggs.
Form into balls in baking dish. Mix jelly, chili sauce, & lemon juice. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour sauce over meatballs and bake 325 degrees for 1 hour, basting 3 times.
