Chicken-Artichoke-Mushroom Pasta

  Chicken mushroom pasta with artichokes
Ingredients:
  1 12 oz   whole wheat spiral pasta
  1.50 lbs   chicken breast (bite sized)
  1 tsp   bottled minced garlic
  1 cup   chicken broth
  1/2 tsp   salt
  1/2 tsp   pepper
  2 15 oz cans   artichoke quarters (rinsed and finely chopped)
  1 pkg   button mushrooms
  1/4 cup   parmesan cheese
  1/3 cup   chopped fresh basil
Directions:
  Cook pasta according to directions. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken to pan and saute three minutes or until browned. Add garlic, saute one minute. Add broth, salt, pepper, artichokes and mushroom and simmer five minutes or until the sauce is thickened an chicken i done. Remove from heat, stir in cheese and basil. Place sauce and pasta in a large bowl and tos gently to combine.
