Chicken and Dumplings

  Chicken with flour dumplings in hot broth.
Ingredients:
  2   chicken breasts
  2 cups   all purpose flour
  1 tsp   baking powder
  1 cup   chicken broth
  1   egg
  5   boullion cubes
Directions:
  In a large pot cover chicken with water an bring to a boil, simmer until cooked through. Remove from pot and cover. Add boullion to water and bring to a boil (you can take your cup of broth from this).

Dumplings: sift 2 cups flour and 1 tsp baking powder together. Make a well in center and pour in 1 cup of broth mixing first with a fork and then with your hands. Add the egg and mix well. Roll dumplings out on a floured board (you will need to cut dough into three or four pieces) until about 1/4 of an inch thick. Tear into pieces or cut into strips and drop into boiling broth. Cover and cook until done. Add chicken and serve.
