Chicken Cresent Roll Casserole

cresent rolls |
|
1 can |
|
cream of chicken |
|
|
|
shredded cheese |
|
1/2 cup |
|
18% table cream (or whipping cream) |
|
4 oz |
|
softened cream cheese |
|
4 tbsp |
|
softened butter |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
garlic powder |
|
1/3 cup |
|
chopped onion |
|

large cooked chicken breast, chopped |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
seasoning salt |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
black pepper |
|
3 tbsp |

mayonnaise |
Directions: |
|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Butter a 9x13 dish
In a saucepan, mix half and half cream, 3/4 cup cheese, and cream of chicken soup
Heat until cheese melts, do not boil
For the filling, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth
Add garlic powder
Add chicken, onion, and cheese and mix until well combined
Add mayonnaise and mix
Add seasoned salt and pepper
Unroll cresent rolls
Place a heaping tablespoon of chicken mixture on each roll and roll up
Drizzle a small amount of soup mixture on bottom of dish
Place cresent rolls in dish
Drizzle remaining sauce on top and cover with cheese
Bake for 30 minutes
