Chicken Cacciatore-yummy low calorie!!

  Delicious and Low Calorie!!
Ingredients:
  6 whole   chicken breasts
  1 tsp   salt
  1 tsp   pepper
  1 tbsp   onion flakes - dried
  1 whole   green pepper finely chopped
  1 clove   garlic-minced
  15 oz   tomatoes-mashed
  4 oz   sliced mushrooms-drained
  2 tsp   tomato paste
  1   bay leaf
  1/4 tsp   thyme
  2 tsp   chopped pimento
Directions:
  Wash chicken pieces well and pat dry. Combine remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Add chicken, pushing down into liquid to thoroughly moisten and coat. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours.

Serve alone, or over rice or noodles (not included in calorie count.)

NOTE: You may bake in roasting pan in oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until chicken is tender.
