Brown Rice

  Easy, but not low-fat brown rice recipe. Awesome.
Ingredients:
  1 stick   margarine
  2/3 c   long grain rice
  3 c.   water
  1 envelope   dry onion soup mix
  1 can   mushrooms-drained (optional)
Directions:
  melt margarine over medium heat.
Add rice and brown
add water and soup mix (and mushrooms)
simmer 45 min to 1 hour until liquid is absorbed.
