Brown Rice

Easy, but not low-fat brown rice recipe. Awesome. |
Ingredients: |

1 stick |
|
margarine |
|
2/3 c |
|
long grain rice |
|
3 c. |
|
water |
|
1 envelope |
|
dry onion soup mix |
|
1 can |
|
mushrooms-drained (optional) |
Directions: |
|
melt margarine over medium heat.
Add rice and brown
add water and soup mix (and mushrooms)
simmer 45 min to 1 hour until liquid is absorbed.
