Beer Braised Pork Chops

  Beer Pork Chops
Ingredients:
  4   Boneless Pork Chops
  2 T   Whole Wheat Flower
  1/2 T   butter
  1/2 T   Olive Oil
  1/2 c   chopped green onion
  2   cloves garlic
  8 oz   sliced mushrooms
  1/2 t   Thyme
  8 oz   beer, room temp
Directions:
  Lightly flour chops. Melt butter and olive oil together in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chops quickly on both sides. Remove and keep warm. Add the green onions, garlic, mushrooms
and thyme and saute an additional minute. Return chops to the skillet, add the beer and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 7-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
