Asian Inspired Marinated Portebello Mushroom Steak
by Donna Weathers
serves: 4
Tender slices of portabello mushroom soaked in braggs or tamari, apple cider vinager and sesame oil with chopped garlic, ginger and crusted with unhulled sesame seeds. Being like a sponge the portabello will soak up all the flavors!

Best of all this recipe takes only 5 minutes prep time (2 hours to marinate though)
Ingredients:
  4   large Portabello Mushrooms
  2 tbs   sesame oil
  2 tbs   apple cider vinegar
    1-2 cloves of garlic
  1 tbs   chopped ginger
    1-2 tbs tamari or braggs
2 tbs   raw, unhulled sesame seeds
Directions:
  Cut the portabello into strips

Place into a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients then gently massage the mushrooms until they are evenly covered.

Put into the fridge and allow to marinate for 2 hours or more. The longer you leave them the more the flavors will soak into the mushrooms.

Serve as a side or main dish!
