Apple-Pineapple Salad

  Good for a salad or dessert!
Ingredients:
  3/4 C   Sugar
  1/3 C   Flour
  1 can   Crushed pineapple (crushed)
  4   Granny smith apples, chopped
  1/2 stick   Butter
  1 Tub   Cool Whip
Directions:
  Combine sugar, flour, and pineapple (with juices) in a pot.
Simmer until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in remaining butter until melted.
Let cool.
Add chopped apples.
Refrigerate.
Top with Cool Whip before serving.
