Pot roast with carrots, potatoes, and onions. |
Ingredients: |

6 Pound |
|
Serloin Roast |
|
1 Package |
|
Lipton's onion soup mix |
|
2 Cups |
|
Hot water |
|

Beef bullion cubes |
|
6 Medium |
|
Potatoes ( Cut into large pieces ) |
|
1 Small |
|
Sweet Onion ( Cut into large pieces ) |

4 Large |
|
Carrots ( Cut into large pieces ) |
|
2 Stalks |
|
Celery ( Cut into large pieces ) |
|
1 Tablespoon |
|
Minced roasted garlic |
|

Salt and pepper ( to taste ) |
Directions: |
|
Preheat oven 350. Coat roast with soup mix. Sear in a frying pan at very high heat with 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil. Place seared roast in 13 x 9 cake pan. Mix water and bullion. Pour over roast and add potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes. Add all other ingredients and continue to cook till internal temperature is 155 between 20 - 40 minutes. Slice and Serve.
