Amanda's Fried potatoes

  Home style buttery fried potatoes.
Ingredients:
  4 Large   Potatoes ( sliced into 1" pieces )
  4 Tablespoons   Salted Butter
  1 Teaspoon   Dried minced onions
    Salt and pepper ( to taste )
Directions:
  Melt butter over med. heat. Add potatoes and onions cover and cook about 10 min. Remove lid, season and raise to high heat. Continue to cook till brown and crispy only flipping when necessary. About 25 min. total cook time.
