Simple vegetable salad |
Ingredients: |

|
iceberg lettuce |
|
1 C |
|
celery, diced |
|
4 |
|
eggs, hard-boiled and sliced |
|
1 pkg |
|
10 oz frozen peas, thawed |
|
1/2 C |
|
green pepper, diced |
|
1 med |
|
red onion, diced |
|
1 lb |
|
bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled |
|
2 Tbsp |
|
sugar |
|
2 C |
|
Miracle Whip |
|
4 oz |
|
cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions: |
|
Tear lettuce into bite size pieces; layer ingredients in order given. Add sugar to Miracle Whip; spread over top. Top with cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
