Creamy Basil Chicken Pasta

			| Ingredients: | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 box | 
			  | 
			Angel Hair Pasta(or any pasta you like) | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 pound | 
			  | 
			Boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite size  pieces | 
		
		
			|   | 
			3 cups | 
			  | 
			Heavy whipping cream(you can also use half and half) | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 stick | 
			  | 
			Salted butter | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 tbsp | 
			  | 
			Butter  | 
		
		
			|   | 
			2 tbsp | 
			  | 
			Dried basil | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 tsp | 
			  | 
			Salt or more to taste | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1/2 tsp | 
			  | 
			Coarse ground black pepper | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 tbsp | 
			  | 
			minced garlic | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 cup | 
			  | 
			Optional Mushrooms,broccoli,asparagus ect | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1 pot | 
			  | 
			Water for pasta | 
		
		
			|   | 
			1/2 cup | 
			  | 
			Optional freshly grated parm cheese | 
		
		
			| Directions: | 
		
		
			|   | 
			
				Bring large pot of water to a boil. Salt water when it starts to boil.Add pasta and cook according to directions on the box. Put heavy cream and stick of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 4-5 min.Add 1 tbsp of butter to large deep frying pan .Melt butter add bite size pieces of chicken and cook till no longer pink.Add garlic and cook for 1 minute making sure garlic does not burn. Add drained cooked pasta to chicken. Add cream and butter mixture to pasta and chicken. Add basil and salt. Toss and enjoy!
 
 Note: If adding veggies such as broccoli ar mushrooms, saute with chicken. Or pre cook veggies and add at the end!
